Federal authorities have barred entry into the U.S. for 11 shipments of imported orange juice contaminated with a prohibited fungicide. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has taken control of nine of the shipments and returned two to the importers, who indicated they would be shipped elsewhere, said Siobhan DeLancey, an FDA spokeswoman, in Friday emails to The Ledger.
