Assistant County Manager Lea Ann Thomas said she didn’t get much sympathy on her recent visit to Tallahassee. Thomas was there to testify in favor of redrawing proposed boundaries of the Congressional districts, which splits Polk among four districts – it’s split among three districts now – and Polk voters are not a majority in any of them.
