Joe Misiaszek’s back yard is no stranger to hummingbird history. He’s reported some uncommon western strays that have excited local birdwatchers. But Thursday afternoon he and bird bander Fred Bassett were after a familiar species, a ruby-throated hummingbird — a type of bird found all over the eastern United States.
