Rain Cancelling Some Downtown Polk Events. But Don’t Let That Stop You…. - Your Polk County City-Guide

RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!! Tonight’s First Friday in downtown Lakeland, Florida has been cancelled because of rain. The “Guns & Hoses” events scheduled for tonight will be included in June’s First Friday, which will also have as a theme “Taking it to the Streets,” the Downtown Lakeland Partnership said. In Winter Haven, Florida (863area), the Central Park Stroll and Main Street Winter Haven Art Walk has been postponed to June 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., according to the City of Winter Haven. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying your Friday Night. All your favorite hot spots will still be open and ready to take care of you!
