Tampa Bay rookie wide receiver Mike Williams who was arrested early Friday for speeding and suspicion of DUI, will travel and play in San Francisco, head coach Raheem Morris said.
According to the St. Petersburg Times, Williams was pulled over around 3 a.m. this morning for driving 57 mph in a 45 mph zone and weaving. Two tests found his blood-alcohol level below the state limit of .08, but Williams failed a field-sobriety test, smelled of alcohol and had glassy eyes. A urine test was conducted to see if there is anything else in his system and is pending. He was released shortly after 8 a.m. after posting $500 bail.
He did not practice on Friday but is going to San Francisco, the Bucs said.
